Non Traditional Security DPG has instituted a chair on Non Traditional Security in perpetuity with funding from the Ford Foundation. The chair will take forward the message of Comprehensive Security. The First chair was Prof. T.K. Oommen. His study has been published as a book 'Understanding Security : A new perspective' (Macmillian). Mr. B.G. Verghese is the next chair of the project. The working title of his book is "Towards Fraternity : Negotiating India's Diversity. Understanding Security: A New Perspective Rage, Reconciliation and Security : Managing India’s Diversities Advisory Group
